Specialized S Works Stump Jumper All Carbon Single Speed

Specialized Stumpjumper full Carbon S-Works SINGLESPEED. The absolute most fun ‘All Mountain’ Bike you can build (and like me - you’ve secretly always wanted to build). This bike cost me $9,600 and is still in BRAND NEW CONDITION. Just never any time to ride - which sucks for me and is awesome for whoever ends up with this “Once in a Lifetime Build” - according to Charles, the Owner of Trailhead Bikes in Cleveland, TN

- Fox Factory 34 Fork (150mm with Kashima coating)
- Fox Transfer dropper post (Kashima).
- Carbon Roval Hoops Rim Set
- INDUSTRY NINE Hydra hubs, correct spokes.
- Wheels laced to red, Single-speed specific Hubs
- RENTHAL CARBON riser bars.
- TRUVATIV CARBON Stylo cranks, 170mm, with 32t sprocket.
- YESS chain tensioner.
- SURLY 16t cog and SRAM chain
The rear shock was upgraded to FOX Kashima coated, DPX2 (with Piggyback). Fox did not have replacement shocks for the new Stumpjumpers. So my builder at Trailhead talked to Specialized and to Fox about using the DPX2 of a slightly longer stroke and tuned the shock with some volume spacers.
So this shock, along with a couple of small things (bottom bracket, correct dropper lever, etc.) made the overall bike price jump up from even a stock S-Works.
Charles at Trailhead bikes also commented “This bike is going to go down as one of our sweetest builds ever. We'll have to snap some good pictures of it for sure. Oh, and I think it's going to be light too (I'm jealous!).”
