Eleven Pro 29" Mountain eBike, (from Portugal). It’s an 8 spd. w/a New 1,000w
Bafang Mid-Drive Motor & a New 48v 13AH Hailong Battery. It has both a
pedal assist mode as well as a throttle mode, in case you want to run motor
only. Built with Bafang's Top of the Line 850C Color LCD Monitor, and a full
array of brake motor cut-offs and gear shift motor cut-offs, (additional safety
features). No corners were cut on this build. Powered
by one of the most efficient and powerful mid-drive motors available - the
Bafang BBSHD 1,000w Mid-drive. It produces one of the highest levels of torque
of any 1,000w electric motor in the market-place i.e., 164Nm. Most factory ebikes
costing up to $9,000.00 are powered with motors with a rating of 100Nm or less.
It’s easy to verify, just visit the bike shops and ask what the motors produce. Due
to
its increased torque rating, the Bafang’s acceleration, climbing, and
top speed
are all clearly superior; combined with one of the lightest
aluminum mountain bike framesets on the market. The Bafang Mid-Drive
Electric
Motor leaves the front hub or rear hub ebikes of equal or higher wattage
in the
dust; especially, during steep climbs. The Bafang is also one of the
most
reliable motors on the market, and comes with a built in 30w controller.
It doesn’t
have a built in speed limiter, so it doesn’t shut down at 27 mph, as do
most
factory built ebikes. While pedaling on the flats, with a large 52T
Lekkie front
chainring, and standard cassette, I’ve gone up to 45mph… These builds
come with a 46T front Chainring; although, the swap tends to be easy
peasy - just (5) easily accessible bolts... I take
the time during builds to torque the motor in place, with specialty tools and a
Milwaukee impact wrench producing up to 145 ft/lbs of torque… The Bafang motors
produce too much torque to attempt to attach them to a bike with the provided build
kit tools, and, the correct specialty build tools tend to be quite pricey. That’s
why you want to purchase from an experienced builder, with an array of
specialty tools… These Builds are Well Suited for : Exercise : You select the distance, and
the power mode - the lower the power setting the more exercise you’ll get. Climbing : You’ll fly up steep grades,
with little effort Hunting : It’s the perfect vehicle to
quietly sneak into the back-country to your hunting stand… Batteries can also be
charged with generators. Commuting to work: You can ride to and from work,
and leave your vehicle parked. Shopping: All it needs is a rear rack or a
front basket. Allot of riders just use a back pack, to retrieve items purchased
while shopping. Another
big advantage of a mid-drive motor is the ability to deal with flat tires.
Changing a tire requires no more effort than is needed with a standard Mntn.
bike equipped with quick release skewers. A flat during a ride with a standard
hub-motor wheel, can quickly turn into a night-mare. You'll need to deal w/the
cumbersome weight of the motor as well as disconnecting electrical connections,
just to remove the wheel. With the
price of gas, just think of all the money you’ll save… UPS
Ground will be used for Domestic Shipments and the Contents will be covered w/
Full Insurance...
