Bicycle Wheel Warehouse is offering this NEW set of DT Swiss XR350 light weight welded 26" MTB XC rims laced with your choice of Shimano Deore loose ball cup + cone or Speed Tuned ST170 / ST300 sealed cartridge bearing MTB 6-bolt disc hubs . The DT Swiss XR350 aluminum alloy welded rim profile is ultra light weight, yet is designed to hold up to aggressive XC riding and racing.  Like all of DT Swiss' highest end rims, this rim has a welded joint, and weighs in at a very light weight 350g. These rims have a Presta valve, and are Not technically tubeless ready, although their inner profile is essentially a pre-tubeless ready design.  The Shimano Deore QR hubs have a loose ball bearing, cup and cone system, which tend to hold up for decades.  The front hub has a quick release axle with a 100mm OLD, the rear hub has a Qhick Release axle, 10mm x 135mm OLD.  The Speed Tuned ST170 and ST300 are very nice, and use high quality sealed cartridge bearings which save weight, and simplify maintenance over time.  All (non XD) rear hub options will work with Shimano HG / MTB series 8, 9, 10, or 11 speed cassettes.  The Shimano Deore's are built up with black Stainless Spokes and Brass Nipples, the Speed Tuned ST170's / 300's are built up with Sapim Race double butted black stainless. This auction is for the above listed wheel set and includes a Quick Release lever if the hub has a QR axle. Wheel set weight with Shimano Deore is 1835g for the pair. We do little things that make a lasting difference, like seating spoke heads against the hub flanges with our own proprietary tools, so that spoke tension doesn’t dramatically change as soon as you put weight on your new wheels the first time you try them out. We stress relieve the spokes multiple times, to help the spokes seat properly against one another and the hub flanges.  The use of high quality lubricants on spoke threads and on nipples helps our wheels last longer, and makes them more serviceable.  We have professional grade equipment in which to check tension and wheel trueness, far more precise than what is available to the regular bike shop. **ALL WHEELS MUST BE SHIPPED, NO LOCAL PICK-UP AVAILABLE**
