Their patented angled tip plows mud and rain off rims, and the exclusive Rim-Friendly™ pad compound helps protect alloy rims from embedded dirt damage. Pads can be used with aluminum or steel rims, but NOT carbon. I have also used these with great results on mountain bike restomods. Patented design. Made in the USA.
